If you are in the process of extracting your articles and you wish to add a new image that does not come from the PDF, then simply click the Images tab in the article editor and drag and drop your image file to upload.
Once it uploads, the image will drop down into the list of all available images for that article. Simply click the ADD TO ARTICLE button to paste the image into the article.
Once you have finished your article, click UPDATE to save your changes.
Once you have finished extracting all of your articles and you wish to push the changes live online, exit out of the extraction tool and return to the ISSUE SUMMARY tab.
Click UPDATE ARTICLES:
If you have already extracted your articles and you wish to go back and upload extra images to them, select MANAGE ARTICLES:
Find the article you wish to modify and click the EDIT button:
Click through to the IMAGES tab, and drag and drop your image to upload:
Click ADD TO ARTICLE:
This will then add the image into the article body, or place it as the featured image:
Click UPDATE once you are finished modifying your article to save your changes.
Once you have finished modifying all of your articles and you wish to push the changes live online, exit out of the extraction tool and return to the ISSUE SUMMARY tab.
Click UPDATE ARTICLES:
NOTE: If an image on your page is not appearing with a green outline around it this means that means that your image is not selectable in the PDF you uploaded.
An image can also appear split up into multiple segments if the image layers were saved in the final PDF. We recommend saving images without layers if you wish to extract it.
To overcome either of these issues during extraction, you will need to upload the image from your computer following the method listed above.
